People are buying watches from eBay that are either replicas or so-called "Franken watches". Watches that have been modified with new movements or other parts from often cheaper watches. There are a ton of them on eBay and on other websites. Fredrik wanted to create a place where you can find both affordable and high-end watches without getting scammed with unoriginal pieces.
